Residency at The Darkwood House Gallery
2020-2024

I, Taylor Invictus, have been a resident artist at The Darkwood House Gallery since 2020. Darkwood House is a curated space for skilled figurative artists with a shared fascination for dark, macabre, and imaginative themes.

The Darkwood House Gallery provides a unique setting to display my work. Darkwood House consists of a dark art gallery, event space, oddities and curiosities shop. Unfortunately, the gallery closed its doors forever in January 2024. Working here was one of the best things I've ever done for my art career. I am still incredibly thankful for the opportunity. Thank you for inviting me into the inner sanctum of the Darkwood Society...

Third Friday Artwalk
& Three Witches Market
At The Darkwood House Gallery
2020-2024

A Magical Shopping experience!

On the 3rd Friday of each month the Englewood Arts District holds its Art Walk.  It's when all the shops are open and artists, craftspeople, and vendors set up booths along the sidewalks to offer their goods.

The Gallery also welcomes vendors into our realm to sell wares within our own Three Witches Market.

MCC Spring 2023 Art Show
Student Art Contest

In the spring of 2023, I took a drawing class at MCC Maple Woods. I worked hard inside and outside of class on my Matrix triptych drawing. It is the biggest and most detailed work I've ever done. I entered it into the student art show where I took first place in the drawing and printmaking category!

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who voted for my artwork!

I am a huge fan of the Matrix Trilogy!

I wasn't expecting this piece to be so widely adored! I'm so grateful for this opportunity!
